Spring Book Recommendations! (2018) 🌸
Hi everyone, Victoria here! Sorry for not being able to post last week! But today I thought I'd do a recommendations post where I recommend some of my favorite books that give me major spring vibes! It's finally starting to warm up and it's almost summer! Let me know in the comments below if you'd like to see a summer recommended reads at the end of the summer! But for now, let's get on to the spring recommendations!...
1. Secrets for the Mad by Dodie
Dodie is one of my favorite YouTubers so naturally, I had to get and read her book. This is a quick read filled with life lessons and great stories. If you're looking for a fun read that could help you get of a reading slump, this would definitely be a good choice! I really enjoyed reading this book and the cover art is absolutely beautiful!

2. The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
I just recently finished this book about a week ago so I won't say too much as I will be giving my full thoughts on it in my May wrap-up, but I really enjoyed it! Although I had some issues with it, I gave it 4/5 stars as it was a fun and interesting read, nothing like I have ever read before. I think that it did live up to the hype, and is a great read to get you into the spring/summer mood! :)
3. Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
I listened to this on audio a while ago, and I really really enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend consuming this story as an audiobook as it added a lot more detail and made the story come to life for me. This book got me into the spring mood as well as it is a coming of age story about the main character with schizophrenia. I gave more thoughts on this book in one of my monthly wrap-ups, so check here for more of my thoughts on it~ https://victoriasbookishblog.blogspot.com/2018/03/march-wrap-up-2018-ready-to-go.html
4. Love Life and the List by Kasie West
I read this one last month, and I think it will make it on the list of my most favorite books of the year! I gave it 5/5 stars (obviously!), as it was a super cute contemporary novel. I would recommend this book to take on a long road trip or a spring/summer vacation as it is a quick and light read! You can find my full thoughts on this book in my April wrap-up here~ https://victoriasbookishblog.blogspot.com/2018/05/april-wrap-up-2018.html
5. The Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall
I read this book probably a year ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Though I haven't picked up the other two novels in the trilogy, I would highly recommend picking this one up. This novel features a secret society, and a lot of mystery, murder, and travel! It was a fun and fast-paced read that I would recommend to anyone looking for a new series to read!
These are the 5 books that I would recommend to read this spring! Once again, let me know in the comments below if you want to see a post like this for summer reads, and make sure to let me know if you've read or plan to read any of these books soon! Thanks for reading and I hope you all have a great weekend! See you all next week!
