October Wrap-Up (2018)
Hey everyone, Victoria here! Today I'm going to be sharing with you my October wrap-up! I only read 1 book in October, which I'm a bit disappointed with, but I was in a reading slump for most of the month. I've also been very busy and tired lately, so it's been hard to find the time and motivation to read. Anyways, let's talk about what I read this month...
1.) Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry
Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ . 5 / ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (3.5/5)
I finished this book a while ago, so I don't remember everything that happened in this book but I'll do my best. I really enjoyed this book! I liked the storyline (since it was like nothing I've ever read before) and the characters were really relatable. Even though I've never gone to a Catholic school, I found the situations the main character was going through really interesting and relatable. The aspects of this that lowered my rating were that I thought it dragged on a bit and some of the plot points felt a bit unnecessary. The best thing about this book was the DRY HUMOR! The sarcasm was spot on and I was constantly chuckling while reading it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to you if you're looking for a pick me up read!
These are all the books that I read in October! Be sure to check out my TBR for November to see what I'm planning on reading this month and let me know in the comments if you read any of these books! See you next week with another new post!
