BOOKTUBEATHON UPDATE


Hey everyone, Victoria here

I wanted to post this quickly to sadly inform everyone that I will no longer be participating in the 2018 Booktubeathon. After realizing it would be pretty hard to bring 7 books with me across the country while on vacation, I decided that I wouldn't participate this year. I want to enjoy my vacation and I'm going to be too busy to devote enough time and energy to participate in the readathon. If I have nothing going on next year, I will absolutely participate! This year, I realized that the timing isn't right for my schedule so therefore I won't be able to participate.

*Disclaimer- This is nothing against the Booktubeathon creators/hosts, I personally have chosen to not participate due to my circumstances. 

 I encourage you all to participate in this readathon if you can! A link to the official BookTubeAThon Youtube channel can be found in my TBR post.

Library Book Sale Book Haul!

Hey everyone, Victoria here! Today I wanted to do a haul of the books I got from a book sale that my library had. All of these books were super cheap (paperbacks were $1.00 and hardcovers were $1.50), so I went a bit crazy! Let's just get right into the haul! Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn I just realized that this is being adapted into a TV mini-series (I think), but when I picked this up, I thought it would be a creepy and mysterious read to explore during October! All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr Y'ALL! I FOUND THIS IN HARDCOVER FOR ONLY $1.50! WHAT A STEAL!! I've been wanting to read this book for such a long time and I've heard nothing but great things about it. So glad I was able to pick it up for such a good price! The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern I know so many Booktubers that love this book and constantly hype it up, and I want to see how I'll like it. Finally Fall Book Tag!! 🍁

Hi everyone, Victoria here! Sorry, I didn't have a post go up last week but today I'm going to be doing the finally fall book tag!!  I'm so happy that its finally fall, as fall is my favorite season! Anyways, let's jump right into the questions!  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the fall, the air is crisp and clear: name a book with a vivid setting!  For this one, I'm gonna have to go with Sea Witch by Sarah Henning! The seaside town setting was just so eerie and enhanced the story and made it such an enjoyable read!  Nature is beautiful...but also dying: name a book that is beautifully written but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief  Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Henning Blake.
