May TBR (2018)

Hey everyone, Victoria here! Today I wanted to share with you my TBR for the month of May! May is a pretty long month, but I'm finishing up school, which means finals... :(. Anyways, here are the books that I plan to read in May!

- The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton

-The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X. R. Pan

-Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff 

-The French Girl by Lexie Elliott 

-Unfiltered by Lily Collins (Audiobook)

-99 Days and 9 Days and 9 Nights by Katie Contugno (Audiobooks) 


These are all the books I'm hoping to get to in May! Hopefully,  I will be able to read more than this but these are just a few books I'm really excited to get to this month. Let me know in the comments below what books you plan to read in May!

Library Book Sale Book Haul!

Hey everyone, Victoria here! Today I wanted to do a haul of the books I got from a book sale that my library had. All of these books were super cheap (paperbacks were $1.00 and hardcovers were $1.50), so I went a bit crazy! Let's just get right into the haul! Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn I just realized that this is being adapted into a TV mini-series (I think), but when I picked this up, I thought it would be a creepy and mysterious read to explore during October! All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr Y'ALL! I FOUND THIS IN HARDCOVER FOR ONLY $1.50! WHAT A STEAL!! I've been wanting to read this book for such a long time and I've heard nothing but great things about it. So glad I was able to pick it up for such a good price! The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern I know so many Booktubers that love this book and constantly hype it up, and I want to see how I'll like it. Finally Fall Book Tag!! 🍁

Hi everyone, Victoria here! Sorry, I didn't have a post go up last week but today I'm going to be doing the finally fall book tag!!  I'm so happy that its finally fall, as fall is my favorite season! Anyways, let's jump right into the questions!  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the fall, the air is crisp and clear: name a book with a vivid setting!  For this one, I'm gonna have to go with Sea Witch by Sarah Henning! The seaside town setting was just so eerie and enhanced the story and made it such an enjoyable read!  Nature is beautiful...but also dying: name a book that is beautifully written but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief  Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Henning Blake. This book talks about the main character's brother raping her best friend. Our main character, Mara, has to deal with a lot of grief and feelings surrounding the whole situation.   Fall is bac...
