March Book Haul!
Hi everyone, it's Victoria here! And today, even though we're like a week into April, I figured I would share with you my March book haul! I got a ton of books in the month of March, some that I purchased and some that I got from my library. I will be sharing all of them with you today! So...since I have a lot of books to get through, let's get started!
Purchased:
The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw
This is one of my most anticipated releases of 2018, so I'm so glad that I got my hands on a copy! I'm very excited to read it soon!
Emergency Contact by Mary H. K. Choi
I got this as an ARC from my bookstore, but it's out for purchase now. I should probably get around to reviewing it soon :)
The Weight of Zero by Karen Fortunati
I've been recommended this by my friends multiple times, so I thought I'd get it when I saw it in paperback. I love the rainbow cover too! :) I'm hoping to read it sometime soon, but I might save it for the summer.
Of Fire and Stars by Audrey Coulthurst
I have heard mixed reviews of this one, but Audrey Coulthurst's second book, which is a prequel to this one I think, has recently come out. I saw it in paperback for pretty cheap so I decided to pick it up. Let me know if you've read this in the comments below because I'm kind of on the fence about this one and would like to hear your thoughts if you've read it!
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
I figured since Obsidio came out recently, I should probably get around to reading the series. This has been on my radar for such a long time and I saw it in paperback at Barnes and Noble so I took the opportunity to buy it.
The Astonishing Color of After by Emily X. R. Pan
This is also one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and I've heard nothing but good things about it so far! I'm looking forward to getting to this one very soon!
Gifts:
The Disappearances by Emily Bain Murphy
My grandma forgot to give this to me at Christmas, so I got it from her this month. The concept of this book is really interesting to me so I'm interested to see what I think of it.
Library:
The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith
I already read this one, and sadly didn't enjoy it at all. I rated it 2.5/5 stars, and you can see my full thoughts on it in my March wrap-up here.
Autoboyography by Christina Lauren
I recently finished this book and it was AMAZING!!! I gave it 5/5 stars, it was a heartbreaking read, but I had so much fun while reading it! I will be talking about it more in my April wrap-up later in the month.
Love, Life, and the List by Kasie West
I'm about 200 pages into this currently and I love it so far! I hope to finish it soon and I think I will be rating it pretty high :) Full thoughts to come in my April wrap-up.
The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton
I was so happy to see that my library had gotten this book, so I'm super excited to be getting to it soon. Everyone seems to be absolutely loving this book, so I want to see if it lives up to the hype.
The Apocalypse of Elena Mendoza by Shaun David Hutchinson
I had no intention of picking this one up, but the synopsis on the inside flap of the book really drew me in so I'm excited to see what this book is all about!
Blood Water Paint by Joy McCullough
I'M SO EXCITED TO READ THIS OH MY GOD...THIS IS PROBABLY MY MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK OF 2018 AAAAAAHHHHHH I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT IT!!
Those are all the books I purchased or got in March! I'm so excited about literally all of these books and I can't wait to read every single one of them. Let me know in the comments below what books you picked up in March! See you all next week with another post!
-xoxo Victoria
