The Valentine's Day Book Tag



Hello everyone, Victoria here! And today, since it's Valentine's Day....I thought that I would do the Valentine's Day Book Tag! I found this on The Sassy Book Geek's blog, so go check it out if you're interested. Let's get on to the tag!



Question #1- A standalone book you love


Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia. I loved this book so so much, and it was a really good mental health related novel. I also reading Zappia's other novel, Made You Up, which deals with a main character who has schizophrenia. 



Question #2- A dystopian book you love


Definitely, The Hunger Games is one of my favorite dystopian stories to read, although cliche at times. I've only physically read the first book in the series, but I have seen (and been complete trash for) all the movies.



Question #3-A book that you love that no one else talks about


I rated Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith 5/5 stars, while a lot of reviews I found on Goodreads rated it as sort of mid-range (3/5 stars). I don't know of many people who have read this and thoroughly enjoyed it as much as I did.



Question #4- Favorite book couple

Really looking forward to reading this soon because I've had a copy for probably 2 years and its been on my radar for even longer!

Also super excited to read this book that I recently learned about and bought because I love learning about France and French history! 



Question #8- You were given a box of chocolates. What fictional boyfriend/girlfriend would give them to you?

Question #9- You are single on Valentine's Day. What book, tv show, and movie would you read/watch?



A cute chick flick to cheer me up on singles awareness day! 10/10 would watch again...



Question #10- You are in the bookstore. All of the sudden you get shot with an arrow by Cupid. What new release will you love?

Library Book Sale Book Haul!

Hey everyone, Victoria here! Today I wanted to do a haul of the books I got from a book sale that my library had. All of these books were super cheap (paperbacks were $1.00 and hardcovers were $1.50), so I went a bit crazy! Let's just get right into the haul! Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn I just realized that this is being adapted into a TV mini-series (I think), but when I picked this up, I thought it would be a creepy and mysterious read to explore during October! All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr Y'ALL! I FOUND THIS IN HARDCOVER FOR ONLY $1.50! WHAT A STEAL!! I've been wanting to read this book for such a long time and I've heard nothing but great things about it. So glad I was able to pick it up for such a good price! The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern I know so many Booktubers that love this book and constantly hype it up, and I want to see how I'll like it. Finally Fall Book Tag!! 🍁

Hi everyone, Victoria here! Sorry, I didn't have a post go up last week but today I'm going to be doing the finally fall book tag!!  I'm so happy that its finally fall, as fall is my favorite season! Anyways, let's jump right into the questions!  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the fall, the air is crisp and clear: name a book with a vivid setting!  For this one, I'm gonna have to go with Sea Witch by Sarah Henning! The seaside town setting was just so eerie and enhanced the story and made it such an enjoyable read!  Nature is beautiful...but also dying: name a book that is beautifully written but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief  Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Henning Blake.
