Shadowhunters Read-a-Long!



Hello fellow readers! I just wanted to quickly post this to talk about a year-long read-a-long of the Shadowhunter series that I will be participating in hosted by emmmabooks from Youtube! I have wanted to read the series for a really long time, so I decided I would finally do it with this read-a-long. There is also a Facebook discussion group to talk about the books as well as upcoming live shows regarding each book.

The read-a-long of the Shadowhunter books by Cassandra Clare will be read in publication order. And each book will have a window of time to be read since 14 books will be read throughout the year. Here is the schedule for each book (this is also in the description box of Emma's video):


City of Bones: Jan 1- Jan 27
City of Ashes: Jan 28- Feb 17
City of Glass: Feb 18- Mar 18
Clockwork Angel: Mar 18- Apr 14
City of Fallen Angels: Apr 15- May 5
Clockwork Prince: May 6- Jun 2
City of Lost Souls: Jun 3- Jun 30
Clockwork Princess: July 1- July 28
City of Heavenly Fire: July 29- Aug 25
The Bane Chronicles: Aug 26- Sept 15
Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy: Sept 16- Oct 6
Lady Midnight: Oct 7- Nov 3
Lord of Shadows: Nov 4- Dec 1
Queen of Air and Darkness: Dec 2- Dec 31

Library Book Sale Book Haul!

Hey everyone, Victoria here! Today I wanted to do a haul of the books I got from a book sale that my library had. All of these books were super cheap (paperbacks were $1.00 and hardcovers were $1.50), so I went a bit crazy! Let's just get right into the haul! Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn I just realized that this is being adapted into a TV mini-series (I think), but when I picked this up, I thought it would be a creepy and mysterious read to explore during October! All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr Y'ALL! I FOUND THIS IN HARDCOVER FOR ONLY $1.50! WHAT A STEAL!! Finally Fall Book Tag!! 🍁

Hi everyone, Victoria here! Sorry, I didn't have a post go up last week but today I'm going to be doing the finally fall book tag!!  I'm so happy that its finally fall, as fall is my favorite season! Anyways, let's jump right into the questions!  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the fall, the air is crisp and clear: name a book with a vivid setting!  For this one, I'm gonna have to go with Sea Witch by Sarah Henning! The seaside town setting was just so eerie and enhanced the story and made it such an enjoyable read!  Nature is beautiful...but also dying: name a book that is beautifully written but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief  Girl Made of Stars by Ashley Henning Blake.
